Big Brother Spoilers: Week 8 Veto Meeting Confirms Keanu’s Replacement Nominee

Ever since Keanu won the Head of Household competition and became the person in power on Week 8 of Big Brother Season 27, there’s been an air of mystery in the house.

Keanu has been on the wrong side of many votes and a house target, so it was inevitable he’d use his power to try to cultivate connections and ensure he would remain in the game for longer.

On Friday, he nominated Mickey, Morgan, and Vince for eviction, with Morgan being his target.

He wants to have Vince all to himself and believes that the only feasible way of accomplishing that goal is if he finds a way to send Morgan packing.

His plan hit a major snag on Saturday when Morgan won the Power of Veto, thus, forcing Keanu to name a fourth nominee for the week.

Despite initially pegging Ava as a potential target, Keanu later realized that she was on an island and figured that she’d be better as an ally than an enemy.

Rachel’s Risky Plan on Big Brother

Then there was Rachel, who went to work to try to save The Judges alliance. She went as far as making Keanu lasagne, and then tried to get him to put Lauren up as the replacement nominee.

Of course, Keanu knows that Lauren doesn’t have many people in the game at this point and has a bit of an understanding with her that they’re a team.

So Keanu didn’t think too much of it and even told Lauren all about Rachel’s scheming, which will make Lauren want to get Rachel out of the game next week if she’s in power.

Keanu started thinking of plans over the weekend that would shake things up considerably in the house, and he entertained the possibility of persuading Morgan to use the Veto on Vince with the promise that Lauren would go up on the block.

Then, he’d just put Morgan’s ally Ashley on the block. It’s a wild plan and one that Morgan initially balked about because why would she save her ally over herself?

But things shifted on Sunday night and we saw her on the Big Brother live feeds entertaining that possibility.

Keanu is desperate to get Morgan, Mickey, or Ashley out of the game and believes that having all three on the block going into Thursday’s live eviction is the best foot forward.

But Keanu’s master plans rarely come together because he doesn’t think of the bigger picture, so we’ll need to stay tuned to find out how this shakes out.

Who Is the Replacement Nominee?

Ashley has made a big push to avoid going on the block, including telling Keanu that she will gun for him if he even tries it.

So, how did things play out at the Veto meeting?

Morgan removed herself from the block, forcing Keanu to nominate Ashley in her place.
