The state has a diverse range of climates, from the humid subtropical climate of Philadelphia to the humid continental climate of Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania is also home to a number of tax-free shopping areas. The economy of Pennsylvania is diversified and includes sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, mining, energy, biotechnology, and tourism. The state is also home to a number of colleges and universities, including the University of Pennsylvania, one of the eight Ivy League schools. Pennsylvania has a relatively low cost of living and is ranked as one of the safest states in the country. The state also has a number of parks and recreation areas, making it a great place to live for people who enjoy the outdoors.
